Friday staff meeting is officially constructed into the News Photo 1 class. It is part of the requirement for you to attend. It is an opportunity for all Ranger staff to communicate with each other and to discuss important things and policies. It is vital for everyone who work for the Ranger to be present, and not just show up 10, 20 minutes after. You are expected to arrive on time.
I will be counting the attendance record before mid-term and inform those who has serious absence problems. SAC policy states that any student who missed class more than the equivalent of 2 weeks (6 meets in our class) will be dropped from the class. I will have to follow the rule.
Also, to make sure everyone be present when they should, I will start applying late arrival as a partial absence. Every two tardy record will be counted as one absence.
The staff meeting starts at noon every Friday!
